The thirteenth text, and the first written for una. Counted across the lessons, the texts and the phrasebook on September 4, 2026, una stood in 21 sentences — fewer than any other settled rule, and fewer than half of what the adverb rule had before text 11 was written for it.
una does two jobs. Alone after a verb it is “together”; with a noun after it, it is “with”. Of the 21, seventeen were “with” and four were “together”, so the rarer of the two jobs is what this page mostly does.

What una did
Seven of the eighteen sentences use it, and between them they cover both jobs and three kinds of “with” that English keeps apart:
| una legum | an ingredient |
| una sabun | an instrument |
| una dugu mi, una ta | a companion |
| otur una, kula una, kita una | together |
The last row is the one that needed writing. Four sentences in the whole corpus had used the bare adverb; this page adds three more and one of them, Mi senang porke kita una, uses it with no verb at all — the shape the copula rule licenses, and the shape that “Mi una yu” was corrected into on the same day.
Gaps
With an object, the two jobs of una collide. Kita kula una is “we eat together”, and Kita kula una pan should be “we eat together, bread” — but it reads as “we eat with bread”, because una followed by a noun is the preposition. There is no way to say we eat the bread together in one sentence. This page avoids the collision by keeping every together sentence free of an object, which is a way of writing around a hole, not a solution. Recorded as an open question in place.md.
This page’s claim about but did not survive inspection, and is withdrawn. It said Corba garam. Pan baru. would rather be “the soup was hot but the bread was old”. The text is in the present, and baru is new — the table above glosses the line “The soup is hot. The bread is fresh.” Two pieces of praise, which aur joins perfectly well. The note described a sentence this page never wrote, and the briefing counted it as one of seven pages of evidence until September 5, 2026. It is six now, and the six are unaffected. A gap note is evidence the founder decides on; it has to quote the page it is on.
No word for then (the list). The child falls asleep and is carried to bed; the order on the page is again doing what the grammar cannot.
