Prerequisite: Lesson 23.
These words entered the dictionary when it passed 180 roots and never got a lesson of their own. This one and the next close that gap. No new grammar — everything here uses rules you already have.
Twenty-three words are new here. Seven more are in the sentences below because this is where they group, and they are listed apart, under the lesson that actually taught them. Until September 5, 2026 all thirty sat in one table headed New words, which told a learner that a word from Lesson 18 was new in Lesson 24.

Words you already have
Seven of the words in this lesson are not new. They belong to the table and the city as much as the rest, so they appear in the sentences below — but you met each of them earlier, and this is where each was taught.
| Word | Meaning | Taught in |
|---|---|---|
| besok | tomorrow | Lesson 4 |
| hafta | week | Lesson 18 |
| kafe | coffee | Lesson 18 |
| madina | city | Lesson 18 |
| negara | country | Lesson 18 |
| fruta | fruit | Lesson 20 |
| mulut | mouth | Lesson 20 |
besok is the plainest of them: it was moved to Lesson 4 on September 4, 2026, because that lesson is called Yesterday, today, tomorrow. The move was made and this table was not trimmed, so for a day the word was new in two places.
